Friends Southern Summer Events

Friends Southern Summer Events organises yearly events for young Quakers from all over Southern England, and beyond! Junior Gathering (for 11 to 14-year-olds) and Senior Conference (for 15 to 18-year-olds) are a chance for young people to be together in a Quaker community, to explore issues, have fun, meet new people and make new friends. They are spiritual gatherings where we share in Quaker worship and can grow in our understanding of Quakerism, ourselves and the world.

We consist of a Management Committee, Events Support Team, Trustees and the events team and their staff.

Friends Southern Summer Events was a continuation of the organisation of “Summer Schools” held at various Quaker Schools across the UK. FSSE was formally incorporated as a charity in 2014.
