Safeguarding Policy
In organising and running its events Friends Southern Summer Events follows guidelines from Britain Yearly Meeting concerning the safety and well-being of those taking part. All adult volunteers are required to have current, enhanced disclosures from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly Criminal Records Bureau). Young people are encouraged to speak with the coordinators but also have access to named independent people who they may contact during the event with any concerns about their safety and well-being.
You can see the FSSE Safeguarding Policy here. A full copy of our Safeguarding Policy is available to all volunteers. This has details of procedures and responsibilities of staff and management in the event of a disclosure. If have any further questions then please contact us.
